A group of final year students have recently graduated with an impressive array of skills and accomplishments in the field of robotics and autonomous systems. Led by their supervisor, Dr. Faisal Ayob, the team has developed a range of devices that demonstrate their ability to conceptualize, design, build and test cutting-edge technology.

The group's final year project (FYP) involved designing and building six different devices, all of which have been successfully completed. These devices are a robotic arm, spider bot, miniature blimp, autonomous boat, fuel usage tracker, and underwater vehicle. Each device was created from scratch, starting from initial ideas and sketches to fully-functional prototypes.

The robotic arm is designed to be used in applications such as welding and assembly lines, and can be remotely controlled or programmed. The spider bot, on the other hand, is designed to be a surveillance device that can crawl through small spaces and transmit images and audio to a remote operator. The miniature blimp is a versatile device that can be used for aerial surveillance and monitoring, while the autonomous boat is designed for environmental monitoring and data collection.
